“You might see me with my head down but I’m just thinking of ways to rise”-Seratuh

Seratuh is an upcoming versatile reggae artist and songwriter hailing from Portland Jamaica that now resides in Brooklyn New York. He’s currently signed to the label Rugu Nation. I received his music just in time for the West Indian Day Carnival and it turned out to be just what I needed to get my weekend started, “Coca Cabana” is the latest single featuring B.Millie which happens to be my favorite track by Seratuh so far.

The song gives off a feeling of good vibes that will put you in a sexy mood as he talks about lusting over a beautiful girl on Instagram. The hook is catchy and the beat is a slow reggae mix with an r&b vibe perfect to whine to while getting dressed for a night out. Overall “Coca Cabana” was well written and very well produced, showing me Seratuh has lots of potential along with a good music team to take him to the next level. Another song that caught my attention was “Yuh Cheat” featuring Narki x Gussy x Fresh EP. This track reminded me of the song “Can’t satisfy her” by I Wayne but what made me love the song was the way they perfectly blended the sounds of reggae and reggaeton together. The Spanish vocals were just the touch this track needed to make it flawless. I also watched the video for Yuh Cheat and enjoyed the surprise ending. I won’t spoil it tho you will have to check out the video yourself to see.

Both of these tracks are off Seratuh’s new album “Bad Company”. The album is available for purchase on Itunes and streaming on all major music sites. I suggest that you check him out and also take a listen to his other album titled “My Time.” The album has one track that grew on me called “Fi Di Money” featuring Gussy where he asks the ladies what you would do for the money?

Seratuh’s music is definitely created to attract a female audience and I’m Here For It! Now all my followers know that usually I’m extra with the criticism and super picky when it comes to music but Seratuh has made a fan out of me. I will be following his career from here on out and looking forward to sitting down with him to bring you A Valid Review Exclusive to keep you all updated. Overall I give Seratuh a 9 out of 10. Make sure to follow him and check out his music all links will be listed below.

  1. Wonderful blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any tips? Appreciate it!
