Resorz Media Inc Presents It’s 5th Annual Caribbean GiveBack Gala

We are Resorz Media and we are working in conjunction with other organizations to Present our 5th annual Caribbean Gala Give Back & Man of Valor Award Ceremony  on the following date and city: June 16, 2019, in NYC You are invited to be the official media sponsor of our Caribbean Gala Give Back ’’ this event will be held at Event Terminal, New Hyde Park, New York.

We are excited about this historic event, we view this as an opportunity to introduce the “Caribbean Gala Give Back & Man of Valor Award Ceremony  “ to the masses with the intentions to increase diversity and awareness in the less fortunate and forlorn areas. This event is intended to provide opportunities to showcase unique talents and people who contribute to our community.

 We pride ourselves in keeping our events exclusive while maintaining a safe and secure environment. With your help, we are hoping to expand the awareness of the needs for COATS, TOYS, School Supplies and Sanitary Supplies for the HOMELESS and the less fortunate in the New York Metro area and Caribbean Diaspora.

        Your network represents a positive and professional image which is not always present in the fashion and entertainment industry.  Our demographics for this event ranges from young professionals and successful entrepreneurs, who aspire to achieve the level of success your network exemplifies.

        We would like our event to be above the rest and we feel your positive presence will help us achieve that. Knowing that you support the “Caribbean Gala Give Back.” This Caribbean Gala Giveback season, our focus is to bring awareness to the great “Men Of Valor.” Men who are active within their community while helping to bring the Homeless epidemic to an end..

Makeda Bawn alias Zhaneirie; Zhane ( meaning Gift of God ) and Irie (meaning happy and positivity in Jamaican creole) was born on April 8, 1996, in St Catherine, Jamaica. She then moved to Clarendon, Jamaica with her parents. She became a fan of the Art of Photography and developed a love for advocacy in high school. At the age of 15, she gained experience in advocating after enrolling in the Jamaica National Resolution project. This project was established to teach youth in rural high schools about photography and how to use it has a tool to advocate for positive changes in their communities and country. It was a great stage to portray her world through the lens of a camera. In 2014, she was awarded for Best Body Image for her photograph entitled; “Pure, Her Most Prominent Possession”.Her photographs were on exhibition at the Departure Pier in both Norman Manley and Sangsters International airport. As well as at the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre in London, United Kingdom. She is also a poet and has had published works in the Jamaica Sunday Gleaner. Her poetry encompasses ideologies of socialist feminism. Also In the summer of 2014, she was one of a group of young Jamaicans, who graduated from two intensive workshops on videography hosted by Phase Three Productions; one of Jamaica’s well known full-service television and multimedia production company. After which she wrote and directed a short film entitled Forgotten Voices. Currently, she is an actress in a children’s animated puppet show called Ackee Walk on Television Jamaica, created in partnership with UNICEF Jamaica to teach children about their rights and responsibilities. It is the first of its kind on the island, it follows the adventures of two characters, “Kingston” and “Lucea”. She is the voiceover actress and puppeteer for the character Lucea. 

Makeda Bawn is a photographer, writer, poet, actress, advocate, videographer, social media content creator and production coordinator. She currently attends the University of Technology pursuing her Bachelors of Arts degree in  Communication Arts and Technology. She hopes to one day be added to the history books for her future contributions in Photography, Journalism and Film production.

An official press tour will take place before, after this event to bring awareness of this Galas goals, accomplishments and help it build its mission in helping these third world countries  . There will be an extensive social media campaign surrounding this event. Social media including, Instagram, Twitter, email blast and FaceBook will all play a major role in sensitizing the Caribbean and its Diaspora about this Affair” Caribbean Gala Give Back affair promises to be very exciting and entertaining and will feature fashion, music and lots of Entertainment at this event.  There will be complimentary Hors D’oeuvres and addition food and refreshments  to ensure the ultimate giveback experience.

    Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very troublesome to
