New Skin…who is this?
2017 was rough on every aspect of my life, including my skin. After spending the most of the summer in Chicago where humidity is high, coming home to Vegas was very hard on my skin. This dry desert heat really takes a toll on my skin and hair. I try to stay hydrated and moisturized, but it never seems to be enough.
As the year ended, my skin needed some major reviving. I wanted something that I could use at home on my own schedule and something inexpensive cause…kids! More importantly, I wanted something that would work! About a year ago, there was a sale at Ulta where I purchased three TreeHut Scrubs for the price of two. I used the Shea Sugar Scrub so fast that it slipped my mind that it was awesome for what I needed now.
Under my sink (with tons of other unused products), I still had the Fig & Olive Mediterranean Salt Scrub and the Coconut Lime Shea Sugar Scrub. I decided that I would use these to jumpstart healthy, smooth, and hydrated skin in the new year! Since January 1st, I’ve been alternating between the two and I love the results that I’m seeing. My skin is already noticeably softer, more youthful looking, and it’s absorbing my lotion and moisturizers better too. I’m going to keep this regimen up until my skin is right where I want it.
I like the fact that these scrubs can be used during my morning shower, and doesn’t take long to use or rinse them off. TreeHut Scrubs are inexpensive and can be found at various retailers. They’re only $7.99 at Ulta and go on sale often. There are tons of fragrances to choose from and they all smell amazing!! The salt and sugar scrubs provide you with different results but I love them equally. The sugar is more abrasive whereas the salt is finer but appears to scrub more deeply.
Have you ever tried these body scrubs? If so, let me know your favorite.
Peace & Blessings,
