Lyrical Artistry takes true talent, determination, sacrifice, being thick-skinned, a team that is down to ride until the end, Blood, Sweat, and Tears…
Often many believe that success happens within the music industry overnight. No one ever notices the back end of a musical success story. The money that is spent to push a record, getting your sessions booked in well-known studios, exclusive features, and on top of that, imagine doing it as an independent artist. The Rapper Sauve Fello knows all about this, so I hit him with some Valid Questions.
A phenomenal artist that’s WHO I AM
Well, thats easy! Cause the word smooth was already taken, lol Nah, but when I was a teenager I had a certain way with the girls, some say game but I call it poetry. I just knew what to say as for fello it was because I was a cool dude so instead of calling myself a cool dude I just used the word fello and plus no one else had that name.
The way that I talk, the way that I walk, the way that I dress, the way that I smell, I mean I keep a nice bottle of YSL LIGHT BLU Cologne, but yeah that’s Suave too me.
Umm let’s just say I was born to do this, I already had a mission before I entered this world I would say that I have a gift and I’m here for a reason so there’s no ending
I relied on others and not myself, it’s all about confidence without that you’re just weak. So I would rely on others just to blame them for my failures, however at the time I didn’t have the right tools to work with. I was working with beats that didn’t fit me, studio’s that didn’t know what they were doing, but it was cool becuse most of the time I didn’t pay for any session. So I never took it as a loss bottom line. People will sell you a dream, so now I just follow mines and when it’s your time you just have to be prepared or your time will pass you by.
No, because the music industry doesn’t owe me anything, well at least not now, pretty soon they’ll get to know who I really am.
My talent I’m really talented and they say hard work beats talent. That’s a slave mentality you could hustle all day but that doesn’t mean you’re talented.
Well, it depends certain producers are cool, and then you have your emotional ones, if you don’t use all their beats they get mad and start acting shady towards you. Like it’s not my fault that your beats are not hot enough, shit work harder and if you can’t take the heat then get out the pot simple as that! As far as what type of sound I like, oh god I know people are going to give me a lot of flack on this one, but I really like the rap group MIGOS! Yup, it might sound crazy but they’re winning right now and they have a dope sound. Swizz Beats is one of my favorite producers so far hopefully in the near future we will work together, plus I know his father personally, wassup TD !!! #Beloved
Well I met Dex through Tj a good friend of mines, we came to one of his session at Quad Studios. Tj was doing a song with him which was dope too! It was all good vibes from there, then me and Dex started linking up, long story short, real artist are always gonna link, its inevitable.
I wouldn’t best song cause I have a lot of songs probably over hundreds and still making more but I would say that’s it’s a dope record Owave is a dope artist as well and s/o to owave and them Awol boys bk all day Bedstuy.
