Indie Allen “Natural High”

Jamaican artist Indie Allen is gaining traction with his unique sound style and down to earth character. His falsetto range is impressive and pairs well with his blended brand of music that includes reggae, folk, and pop. The crossover appeal brings audiences from several genres together for the variety showcase that puts his voice center stage. Most recently Indie teamed up with the Natural High crew on their Urban Roots II compilation project released through Caribbean record label,  Delicious Vinyl Island. His feature track “I Know You Love Me” is a smooth jam with a catchy hook that gives listeners a taste of the melodic magic he delivers. This song represents a sliver of his body of work but is a great example of his inclusion of love as an underlying theme in his music.

Indie is a very soulful singer, and that energy translates well both in the studio and performing live in front of a crowd. under new management with Yb Records96 a division of Yb entertainment Group Inc /Groupe Divertissement Yb Inc. Later this month he is set to release a brand new tune in coordination with the iconic SumFest in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Perfect timing considering the event will draw countless attendees for an incredible line-up that includes Beres Hammond, Buju Banton, Chronixx, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Jah 9, Spice and dozens more from July 14th through 20th. The single is called “Lose Control” and is a collaboration between Indie and Dominican artist Chris Tijera.  The Single is produced by Yb Records96 (Lt Music & iPod on the keys & Dj Syke45)  & Matetraxx ( who is Matetraxx sound Engineer of Romeo Santos ). 

Fans appreciate his conscious messages and devotion to things that uphold a certain level of righteousness through peace and compassion. On top of that, he also writes music for other artists and plays the guitar. Indie Allen is growing into his role as a top rated talent without fail. At every turn, the young up and comer is exhibiting all the makings of an international star. He is gearing up for a European tour in the fall as the opening act for Roots Underground on a leg that will hit twenty cities. This move is sure to help him make waves abroad and amplify his global presence.
