This has been the year of the unicorn! 2017 is almost over but it looks like we won’t be ditching the unicorn makeup trend in the next 30 days. According to sources (Instagram of course), the original modern age socialite Ms. Paris Hilton will be launching a new unicorn inspired mist.
This product will be the first of her all-natural Hilton Lifestyle, LLC skincare line. As someone very picky about smells, especially things I have to spray on my face, I think our noses are in for a treat considering the mist features aloe and rose water. Who doesn’t love rose water? However even though this line is being marketed as all natural, the ingredients list is eeeeh sketchy, to say the least. In a press release, Paris gushed about her product stating “I have always had a passion for taking care of my skin, and I only use products that actually work without harmful chemicals that are only a temporary fix. With this new company, I can stand behind my own products and promote a brand that is focused on making products that truly work and can help everyone look and feel their best.”
Ok Paris, this mist contains Alcohol Denatured, which is a solvent most commonly used for paint thinner, camping stoves, and alcohol burners. No thank you! If your skin is sensitive you may want to avoid this stuff like the plague. Check out the ingredient list for yourself here https://unicornmist.com/products/unicorn-mist . Unicorn mist will be limited edition and according to the press release, it will only be available online for now. There is no date set in stone as of yet, so we don’t know exactly when we can get our hands on the mist here in the US, but you can pre-order now, there is a 2 per customer limit. It will be available in Australia beginning in mid-December.
The unicorn mist is set to retail for $29 and comes in a 50ml bottle. Personally, I feel like the unicorn trend needs to just go away! And while I may feel this way, apparently there are still, unicorn makeup lovers out there who just haven’t had enough yet. Will you be bringing the unicorn trend into the New Year with you? More importantly, are you willing to spritz chemicals all over your face for the unicorn makeup trend?
